Cuándo conviene la conversión por lotes

Picking the right output format
- .xlsx — the modern default. Choose it to normalize mixed inputs (.xls, .csv, .tsv) into one up-to-date format that every current spreadsheet application opens natively.
- .xls — the legacy Excel 97-2003 format, kept for old ERP systems, accounting packages, and hardware that refuse anything newer.
- .csv — plain comma-separated text for databases, scripts, and web imports. Only the first sheet is exported, and all formatting is dropped.
- .tsv — tab-delimited text, handy when the data itself contains commas and you want to avoid quoting issues.

What is preserved during conversion
Cell values, dates, and number formats carry over to every output format. When the target is .xlsx, native sparklines are parsed from the source file and re-injected into the converted workbook, so in-cell charts keep rendering. Sheet protection settings are not carried into .xlsx output, so review sensitive files before sharing the results.
CSV and TSV are deliberately lossy: they keep only the values of the first sheet, with no formulas, styles, or additional tabs. Convert to .xlsx instead if you need the full workbook structure. Everything runs locally in your browser — files are converted in memory and delivered as one zip archive, never uploaded to a server.

Why does my converted CSV contain only one sheet?
CSV and TSV are single-table text formats with no concept of tabs. The converter exports the first sheet of each workbook; choose .xlsx output if you need every sheet preserved.
Is there a file size or batch limit?
Free users can convert up to three files at a time, each no larger than 10 MB. Upgrading removes both limits, subject only to your device's memory.
Will converting change my data?
Values, dates, and number formats survive the conversion. Formulas are kept when the target format supports them (.xlsx, .xls); plain-text formats store the last calculated results instead.
