What Happens to Each Sheet
Each worksheet is exported as a "## SheetName" heading followed by a GFM pipe table: the first row becomes the header, the second row is the | --- | separator, and every remaining row follows as table data. A completely empty sheet is emitted as a heading plus the placeholder marker, so the document structure stays predictable.
Pipes inside cells are escaped as \| and line breaks become <br>, so even cells full of special characters cannot break the table structure.
